The email addresses collected and held by the JC Local Business Giveaway Group will only be used by ME, Carlton Flowers, the list owner, for the purpose of selecting winners and verifying to local businesses that we are real local patrons who want discounts and specials exclusive to the group. The business members will not have access to the email list. A printed version of the list will be shown to prospective local business members for the sole purpose of showing the strength in numbers of the group. This will encourage local businesses to participate in the sponsorship of the site, and to offer specials.

To give value to the local business owners and to encourage their participation, I will write and send out a monthly newsletter to the membership which will give special focus on what makes the local businesses unique, and to allow them the opportunity to tell us why their product or service is valuable. They will also have the opportunity to describe their commitment to the local market. The newsletter will also showcase the winners of the monthly drawings.

The overall goal of the JC Local Business Giveaway group is to bring together consumers and local business owners with the hope of strengthening our local economy by supporting positive communication while having fun along the way!
